An American coin silver tea or coffee urn, mark of W.K. Vanderslice, San Francisco, circa 1870. Of pear-shaped form raised on a circular stand with four foliate scroll feet and a spirit lamp, chased with Asian architectural and landscape scenes, engraved with a conjoined monogram BCR, the tap with a figural bear spigot, the cover with a blossom finial; height is 16 inches, weight is 93.65 troy ounces.
