An American coin silver butter dish with ice chamber and pierced liner, marked underneath Duhme & Co. in roman block, stamped above the center punch. Of circular form raised on a conforming foot, with a die-rolled border and two baccus mark handles, the domed lid surmounted with a multi-form geometric finial and decorated with bright-cut foliate strapwork against a stippled ground, engraved as a presentation "Joy & Happiness / to the / silver wedding / of our dear parents / from / Abe & Annie", diameter of the body is 7 1/4 inches, weight is 19.45 troy ounces.
