An American coin silver child's presentation cup, maker's mark of Theodore Evans & Co., New York, circa 1850's. With concave sides and a leaf-clad s-scroll handle, raised on a circular rim foot, chased with panels of floral pendants, engraved opposite the handle, "For/ Walter C. Slocum", applied at the top and bottom with die-rolled borders; height is 4 1/2 inches, weight is 5.85 troy ounces.
