A copper and silverplate trophy. Maker's mark of N.G. Wood & Sons, Boston, Massachusetts, number 659, circa 1906: Of hammered finish, hour-glass form with two handles, the handles reinforced with wood, the upper and lower rims applied with silverplate bands, the upper band worn, the body with unfinished engraving: "Corinthian Yacht Club / Billiards / 1906 / First Prize / Won by", the trophy exhibits wear to the upper rim; height is 6 inches. Note: The Corinthian Yacht Club was founded circa 1885 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
