The set of three Gorham Chantilly reproduction catalogues from the years 1895, 1904 and 1914 at a savings of 15%. The set of three catalogues is a comprehensive look at America's number one flatware pattern and the changes that made it a timeless classic. Not only for the Chantilly collector, these books are excellent reference material containing descriptions and illustrations of unusual pieces that were made in Chantilly. A great gift for any silver collector.
Reproduced exclusively for Beverly Bremer Silver Shop; every effort has been made to maintain authenticity of the catalogues. Research for the publications was provided by Samuel Hough, an historian, bookseller, appraiser and archivist. He organized the Gorham Archives now at Brown University and has conducted researches and published articles on Gorham products and craftsmen. He studied the costing records in the Archives and a file in the Gorham Design Department to prepare a large study of Chantilly which he hopes will permit an understanding of the dynamics of the amazing career of the Chantilly pattern.
